The Nova Ring-A-Round is a very effective printing aid for assessing your colour filtration, paper grade, or exposure. Using the principle that your eye works better when comparing different images than it does when asked to analyse actual colours.
You expose your starting image in the centre segment, then using the same part of the negative, expose six different filtration, grade or exposure comparisons around this. You have now produced a Ring-a-round, and you will quickly see which image improves on your original decision. The concept is easy to understand and will ensure you are making correct judgements every time. Saves time, paper, and frustration, and makes sure that you are improving your print with each alteration that you make.
