Ideal for determining the exposure of an unknown negative or when using different printing papers for the first time

• Place the scale on a sheet of printing paper, put the negative in the enlarger carrier, set the f stop on the lens, then expose for 60 seconds
• Look for the segment which shows the nearest time to the correct exposure
• Refine exposure to get optimum result
• Saves a lot of time and paper!
